Iris Collins was my mother. She had a passionate interest in art and became an accomplished painter, mastering many different media, although, in my view, her real forte was for water colours. My mother developed a true instinct for the medium and produced some of her best works. I am pleased to say I have a small collection of some of her finest work, which I treasure. Here is a selection of some of my mother's paintings, although I must apologise for the very poor photography.
